Maui Waui:

The nugget of Maui Waui (Sativa) dripped of crystals and contained dark orange hairs nestled within multiple shades of green leaves. When first smelled, my bag emitted an electric green note with sweetness and possibly a hint of skunk. Later, I noted both a hint of lemon and slight smell of earwax. The smoke was mellow and I experienced a taste of woodiness upon exhale. A quick and sharp Sativa high was realized. My mood was immediately improved, energy increased, and tiredness was non-existent. Focus wasn’t necessarily improved but I was highly functional and productive. Other than pressure increases around the eyes, no physical changes occurred. Cotton mouth courtesy of this Maui Waui strain was rather prevalent and one of only a few negatives.

While this is only my personal opinion and I’m not a doctor or medical professional, Maui Waui seemed great for morning and afternoon (even weekday) use. While a great strain for public use, mood elevation and eye swelling were recognizable immediately and lasted for 2+ hours. As with many Sativa strains, sleep was hard to come by while medicating with Maui Waui but production levels weren’t decreased.
